In 2002 Etheline Desir, founded the Desir Group Executive Search and has developed a highly respected healthcare search firm with a focus on promoting inclusive leadership teams throughout the country. Through her guidance, Desir Group executes a client-focused assessment and selection process – buttressed by the Finder/Keeper Strategy™, a strategically tailored system that focuses on making long-term matches. Etheline is now leveraging her 18 years of executive search experience in diverse industries to proactively build a platform of services that are relevant for today’s dynamic, multicultural and fast paced healthcare environment. In the battle for good talent, she has set herself apart by helping clients avoid wasteful costly mistakes with an eye towards “fit” and cultural competency.

Etheline holds membership in a number of professional organizations to include American College of Healthcare Executives, National Association of Healthcare Executives and the American Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administration. Her community involvements include, the National Black Arts Festival, Public Broadcasting Atlanta, Dress for Success, and Big Sister. She has authored articles and presented at national conferences on topics related to recruitment, retention, career planning, on-boarding and diversity and inclusion.

Etheline Desir was born and raised on the island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean and moved to the United States as a teenager. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Atlantic Union College in Lancaster, Massachusetts and worked in banking for two years before pursuing and earning an MBA at Northeastern University in Boston.
