Developing diverse, healthcare management teams to meet organizational and business priorities has been a hallmark of Neysa Dillon Brown’s career. As the Senior Vice President of the Desir Group, she has embraced the firm’s mission of collaborating with organizations seeking to reflect the community they serve by recruiting and placing highly qualified, diversity candidates. A keen ability to build partnerships, drive organizational change and implement innovative programs has been instrumental in her success in the academic, healthcare delivery, association or community settings.

During her five year tenure with the Institute for Diversity in Health Management, an AHA affiliate, Neysa’s focus on forming productive relationships and her “win-win” approach enabled her to successfully partner with health care organizations and leaders to place young professionals and students nationwide.

Prior to joining the Desir Group, Neysa served as a senior consultant with the Center for Diversity in Health Research, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Foundation and Pro Health, Inc., a healthcare consulting firm. She further demonstrated her people–centered approach at Detroit’s Mercy Health Services and State University of NY’s Health Science Center of Brooklyn resulting in successful institution–wide initiatives.

Neysa received her Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, cum laude, from Spelman College in Atlanta and a Masters in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan. A frequent volunteer on community and professional boards, she currently maintains affiliations with the Association of University Programs in Health Administration, National Association of Healthcare Executives as well as CDC’s Working Groups.
